Some love stories just stick with you — and Marlee & Beau’s totally did. When they told me how it all started, I knew their engagement session needed to feel as fun, natural, and down-to-earth as they are. We chose one of my favorite local gems, tucked into the red rock hills of Spanish Fork, Utah.
As a Spanish Fork photographer, I love bringing couples to spots like this — places that feel unique, a little adventurous, and totally “them.” This area is packed with rich color and texture, giving off major southern Utah vibes without having to leave Utah County. It was the perfect match for these two.
Their Story — Told by Them
When Marlee shared how they met, I couldn’t help but smile. She had been babysitting for Beau’s sister, and one night, he was the designated driver who gave her a ride home. After that, they started chatting on Snapchat — just casually at first. Then, when school started a few weeks later, they ended up in the same class. They started hanging out, became friends, and the rest? Totally history.
Laid-Back Vibes & Red Rock Views
We shot their engagement session during golden hour, and wow — the light was perfect. The way it lit up the red rocks and wrapped them in this soft, glowy warmth felt like something out of a movie. Marlee and Beau were so easy and natural in front of the camera. They laughed, explored, and just enjoyed being with each other, which is exactly what these sessions are all about.
I always aim to create space for couples to just be themselves — no stiff poses or awkward moments. Just real connection, beautiful views, and memories you’ll want to keep forever.

This little red rock spot is one of my favorites as a Spanish Fork photographer. It’s proof that you don’t have to drive hours to find epic landscapes — sometimes the best views are just around the corner.
Getting to photograph love stories in places like this is the absolute best part of my job. Each couple brings something unique, and the way they show up and love each other makes every location shine in its own way.
