Engagement Session in Provo Canyon: A Fun & Relaxed Experience

Recently, I had the chance to photograph a sweet couple up in Provo Canyon for their engagement session. Like many couples I work with, they were a little nervous about posing for professional photos since they don’t do it often. To help them feel comfortable, we focused on movement-based prompts and natural interactions rather than stiff poses. I always keep my couples in the loop—letting them know how things are going and even showing them the back of my camera. Seeing how amazing they look in real time gives them an instant confidence boost!

It’s completely normal to feel a little awkward in front of the camera. A lot of couples tell me, “We’re not models” or “We don’t do this often.” And guess what? You don’t need to be! Aspen Grove – Gorgeous fall foliage and a peaceful atmosphere.
